Questions

What is Deedz?
A song request app for bars, lounges and clubs in Dubai. Guests scan a QR code at the venue, pick a song and name an AED offer for it. The DJ sees the offers ranked on a phone and accepts or passes.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. The QR opens the venue's page in the phone's browser — no app store, no sign-up. DJs and venue owners use the browser too.
When do guests pay?
Only when the DJ accepts. Sending an offer needs no card; once the DJ says yes, the guest has 10 minutes to pay by card through Ziina, a payment provider licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE. A pass or a timeout costs nothing.
What does it cost a venue?
Nothing to set up and no monthly fee. Deedz keeps 15% of each accepted, paid offer and transfers the rest to the venue every month with a statement. Guests pay a service fee of AED 3 on top of their offer.
How does my venue get Deedz?
Register your venue at deedz.ae/register — it takes a minute. We call you to agree the details, set up your venue and print your table acrylics; then you invite your DJs (and one manager) by email. Nothing to install.
Who decides what gets played?
The DJ, always. They can pass on anything, set tonight's theme, and religious, political and children's music can't be requested at all.
Is an offer a bet or an auction?
Neither. An offer is a priority-request fee to the DJ — not a wager, and never a guarantee of when a song plays.
